2008 Table Lodge
Written by Mike Dodge

Every year, on the Saturday before Halloween, the ghouls, ghosts, and goblins rise from their crypts to come partake in a sumptuous repast down at the Lodge - our Annual TABLE LODGE!

These are just a SAMPLING of the pictures which await you in the Lodge Photo Album, so make sure you check those out!

To make all those ghastly ghosties feel right at home, the Lodge's collation room is decorated like an ancient funerary crypt.

Backdrops adorn the walls for that really authentic "creepiness"...!

The columns mark the front of the crypt, where the open door leads from their world to OURS!

The tables are set in celebration of The Feast of All Hallow's Eve.

At the head table, the Master of the Crypt maintains order through the power of his mighty ... leg bone.

And there, beyond the open doors of the Crypt, you can just barely see the "outside" world...
 2008TL_12.JPG
A full moon hangs low over the cemetery beyond our walls, while spiders spin their webs above.
 2008TL_14.JPG
There!  Do you see what lies beyond!

 Tonight we dine!

As darkness falls, the denizens begin their lumbering journey from their burial galleries to the table...
 2008TL_18.JPG
They come from far and wide, these lifeless creatures.

No longer bound by time or location, strange duos can be observed interacting in ways they might have never done while still animated by the breath of life.

Ah - sweet justice!  That accursed referee whose calls sank many a championship hope!

The Hillbilly & Elvis - one of the King's lesser-known films...
 2008TL_22.JPG
 2008TL_24.jpg
No matter from whence they came, all have come for the sweet taste of THE FEAST!

 And eat they shall...!

Knave or Privateer, all meet as equals once Death has layed his mighty hand upon their shoulder.

And what expression might YOU have when the portals to eternity are opened unto YOU?

Of course, there actually ARE cooks making this all happen behind the scenes...
 2008TL_42.JPG
 But reality is SO overrated...

And yet, flesh doth taste SO GOOD!

The evil Necromancer plots his return from the grave and world domination!  Mwuhahahahahaha!

While the Serving Stewards provide the liquid sustenance our lifeless liches require.

The blood of innocents!  Fill it to the rim!
 2008TL_48.JPG
 "More!" they cry!  "MORE!!!!"
 2008TL_49.JPG
A toast!

Bring out the dead!

And some final bonding before returning to another year of damnation.

And in the end, only one man remains...
